We Are The People

Zechariah 7:9 “⁹ “Thus says the Lord of hosts:  ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.”

“Execute true justice!”  There are so many people who have a sliding scale on what they see as justice.  Recently in California there was a measure introduced that would allow a sliding scale on fines according to financial ability to pay.  This sounds kind and compassionate but as believers we are to be “no respecter of persons.”

The fact that God has to say “execute true justice” speaks loudly to the face that someone was practicing a “sliding scale” justice.  Pray in agreement today that believer’s in America will support true justice alone for that is how we will stand in judgement one day before God.  God demands justice beyond what man sometimes exercises because of relationships or advantage of any kind.
