We Are The People

Zechariah 7:9 “⁹ “Thus says the Lord of hosts:  ‘Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.”

“Show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.”  Jesus taught that we are to show mercy in the same way we desire to receive it in the story He told concerning two servants and debts that had to be paid and being in a prison until all was paid.

Pray today that believer’s set the standards of mercy forgiving others according to how they themselves have been forgiven.  Harshness has no place in the Kingdom of God but firmness does.  Also pray that there be that balance of firmness and forgiveness that leads people to repentance.
