We Are The People

Zechariah 8:1-2 “Again the word of the Lord of hosts came, saying, ² “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I am zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great fervor I am zealous for her.”

Once again we are looking at the Book of Zechariah as a prayer guide.  Thank you for joining us as we pray for our nation.

God’s people had been scattered and God was zealous or in the Hebrew jealous for His people Israel.  He had great jealousy for her.  The Lord wanted them to be gathered back in their homeland, even Jerusalem, the Holy City.

Let us pray today that the people of God who have been “scattered” – some back-slidden, others simply have chosen to not gather in churches or they make a “screen” their church, will hear the voice of God to return to the great gathering place of the saints.

There is much influence of Bible truth when there is a higher percentage of  “church goers” so pray that God’s people will return in response to God’s zealous call for His people to once again gather in worship on the Lord’s day.
