We Are The People

Zechariah 8:3 “³ Thus says the Lord: ‘I will return to Zion, and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth, the Mountain of the Lord of hosts, the Holy Mountain.”

God says, “I will return and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.”  In verse 2 God reveals His jealousy over His people.  He is now saying, “I will meet you at the altar in Jerusalem.”  He is like a groom waiting for His Bride.

Pray today that God’s people receive a revelation of this in their hearts.  God waits to meet us in the Sanctuary of His presence, in the stillness of our prayer closets and the place of community as we gather for worship.  God will be there for He is a zealous God.
