We Are The People

Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.

“He comes lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt”. What an awesome picture of humility? But this is also a picture of victory in the ancient world. When a city was taken, the victor rode on a donkey.
Pray that we who are the children of the King open our hearts to the fact that our great God who has won the victory for us allows us to rest in His triumphant position on the throne with Him as joint heirs with Christ. We are not to fear or feel threatened. We are more than conquerors
