We Are The People

Zechariah 9:12 Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare
That I will restore double to you.

“Return..You prisoners of hope.” These are interesting words. To be a prisoner of hope is to be like Abraham the Father of our Faith. He believed in hope against hope.
There are so many situations in life that can make one feel that the future is hopeless. But Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He is not only the basis for our hope, He is our hope.
Pray that God’s people recapture the truth that we are captivated by hope through faith in the word of God and then acting upon God’s unchanging word and Jesus our changeless Savior, we find that as the word of God says, “Hope makes us not ashamed.” This is the hope America needs today.
