We Are The People

Zechariah 10:3 “³ “My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the goatherds. For the Lord of hosts will visit His flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as His royal horse in the battle.”

There are sheep, true followers of Christ, and goats – those who may appear to be part of the flock but they are not.  In Jesus’ teaching in Matthew Chapter 25, Jesus said the difference between sheep and goats is seen in what people do and do not do. In Zechariah 9:3 the prophet says the goats will be punished.  Jesus’ words in Matthew 25 tell us that there will be punishment in the end for those who overlooked the needs of others.

Pray today that believers in America will have their eyes and hearts open to people that are in need spiritually, physically and in other ways and that they respond in ways that can help people in more than temporary ways.  Many in America are hurting because they do not know God’s ways that will lead them in paths of righteousness.
