We Are The People

Zechariah 10:4-5 “⁴ From him comes the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.   ⁵ They shall be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be put to shame.”

Good evening and welcome to the Sunday evening edition of We Are The People prayer movement for America.  Every Sunday night we gather in spirit between the hours of 6 and 9pm (all time zones) to intercede for this land we love.  It asked that you invest a minimum of 15 minutes in prayers of agreement concerning the three focus points listed below.

May the Lord bless you as you “stand in the gap” for America.  We invite you to join in the Monday through Saturday for prayers of agreement on one focus point.  Please share the site with friends so that this ministry will grow in 2016.

Prayer Focus #1:  “From the house of Judah comers the battle bow.”  In the third verse – the context tells us that the “him” is Judah.  Judah is the tribe that Jesus came from according to the genealogy.  The battle bow is an offensive weapon.  Let us pray that the church see her place in this nation as a force that takes ground for Christ considering we are a part of His battle bow to challenge and overcome unrighteousness.  Prayer, influence and the ballot box are offensive weapons God places in our hand – let’s use them.

 Prayer Focus #2:  “From him ‘Judah’ every ruler together.”  Men and women who spring from that tribe of Judah being “join heirs with Chris” are leaders.  Let us pray in agreement tonight that godly courageous leader type people rise up in the Body of Christ and then run for public office to bring righteousness to America through leadership positions locally and nationally.

Prayer Focus #3:  In verse 5 we read that those who spring from Judah will be mighty.  Like King David’s mighty men who were able to do super human things in their day – let us pray that “mighty men” be raised up in the spirit world that will bring down the forces of evil who have come against our one nation under God.  Goliath’s tauntingly demanded “give us a man” so let us raise up men and women who will be champions for Christ.
