We Are The People

Zechariah 10:5 “⁵ They shall be like mighty men, who tread down their enemies
in the mire of the streets in the battle. They shall fight because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be put to shame.”

“They shall fight because the Lord is with them.” Those who follow the “Lion of the tribe of Judah” know that the Lord is with them and will lead the charge to defend righteousness.

Let us pray today that there be a strong sense among believers that God is with us in battles like the one people will be engaged in on Friday on the streets and in the closets of prayer nationwide. The angel Gabriel told Mary “the Lord is with you” and she brought forth righteousness to the world. Let us hear those same words as we stand for righteousness everyday and let us have courage and boldness for “when God is for us who can be against us?”
