Thursday February 4, 2016 “Pride destroyed”

Zechariah 10:11  He shall pass through the sea with affliction,
And strike the waves of the sea: All the depths of the River shall dry up.
Then the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, And the scepter of Egypt shall depart.
      “Pride of the enemy, Assyria, will be brought down.”  Pride is one thing that  God hates. The Lord said He will destroy the pride that brings self-assurance and an arrogant attitude.
  Pray that the Lord will come against the haughty spirit so many have in America today. God dwells with those who have a humble spirit. Pray that there be an understanding of this in the hearts of those who oppose the righteous in the land.
