We Are The People

Zechariah 11:8 ⁸ I dismissed the three shepherds in one month. My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

“My soul loathes them.”  The “them” are the shepherds that do not care for the flock of God.  They are those who devour the sheep instead of feeding and nurturing them.  The Lord says He “loathes them.”  This is to despise someone and to not want to be around them.

Pray today that believers in America will understand the heart of God toward these evil shepherds.  We live in a day that demands caring and nurturing leaders if we are to pull out of the moral and financial pit we find ourselves in.  Pray that those shepherds in authority will wake up to the reality that God is against them when they selfishly discharge their duties.
