We Are The People

Zechariah 11:15  ¹⁵ And the Lord said to me, “Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd.

“Take for yourself.”  There are times when it seems that God places bad leaders in authority that act foolishly – dividing the flock.  But the scripture reads “take for yourself.”  This is like “give us Barabbas!”  The will of the people demanded who would be released and who would be put to death.

Pray that Christians in America will choose to desire leaders with a heart like Jesus who is the Good Shepherd.  There are so many of God’s people with their own agenda.  This must be broken if our country will be once again blessed with wise and good shepherds in the pulpits and the governing, executive and judicial seats of America.  Pride and self-will must be replaced with God’s will being done on earth as it is in heaven in His people.
