Zechariah 14:5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, for the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. yes, you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with You.

The recent earthquake in Japan reminds us of the devastating effects of an earthquake. The earthquake Zechariah refers to must have been significant. The prophet Amos also refers to this same earthquake during the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. Amos spoke words of warning before the earthquake struck saying, “The Lord roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem.” God often warns of impending doom.

Pray that believers in America will hear and heed the voice of the Lord before the great shaking the writer of the Book of Hebrews records and run from the ways of man that create the sinful conditions that brings the hand of God on the land as discipline to His wayward children.
