Tuesday May 3, 2016 “God Strikes His enemies”
Zechariah 14:12 “And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.”
The plague the prophet spoke of would be upon those who fought against Jerusalem (God’s people). Psalm 91:7 tells us that “a thousand can fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand but it will not come near you.” There are many enemies of God and His people in America today.
Let us pray that there be an evident difference in the land between God’s people and those who are not. May that be a witness to the world around us that God has His hand upon us and bring blessings to His own even in turbulent times.
God made a clear difference between Egypt and the land of Goshen where Israel dwelled in Moses’ Day and God never changes. Expect to be blessed.
