Saturday May 14, 2016 “Keep the Feast”
Zechariah 14:19 “This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”
The Prophet comes back to the “Feast of Tabernacles” when Israel were called to remember their wilderness journey and their utter dependence upon the Lord as they practiced “Stop and Go” for forty years in the wilderness.
Let us join in prayer today as God’s Pilgrims. As with Israel of old, we have no permanent dwelling place on the Earth. Pray that we keep that attitude and understanding so we will continue to be joyful in the journey as God’s children.
The alternative is the pain and misery of jealousy of those who only live to enjoy life on this planet and lifetime. We live to receive eternal blessings.
