Monday May 16, 2016 “That All Be Saved”

We are the People is all about intercession.  This week we will talk about the art of intercession and how we can be more effective praying for people who need to know Christ as Savior and Lord.
In Acts Chapter 10 a Roman man named Cornelius was honored by God.  The Lord said, “your prayers have ascended as a memorial before God and your prayer has been heard.”
Cornelius’s prayers resulted in God sending one of His servants to share Christ with Cornelius’s entire family.  That day not only brought an entire family to salvation but it was also the watershed event that opened New Testament salvation to the non-Jew.
Let us pray today for hard to reach people groups in America.  Pray that they will see themselves as people that God loves and that He can change their lives and prepare them for heaven.
