We Are The People

1 Peter 5:8 ⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

To be joyful is part of the Christian life, however Jesus said our joy must be rooted in heaven.  “Rejoice for your name is written in the Book of Life.”

Peter tells us to be serious and alert.  During the beautiful summer season, let us not let down our guard or wane in our prayer life.  Satan does not take a vacation.

Pray that as Christians we will have a good balance of relaxation and spiritual alertness to the promptings of the Holy Spirit to pray against the enemy’s attack near and far.
