We Are The People

Psalm 33:12  ¹² Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

This is “Celebrate America” week so I thought it would be good to remember who we are and pray for our continued freedom as a nation.

-Caesar built a nation on power and it failed.

-Our Founding Fathers established America squarely on the word of God and its principles.

-When the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock the first thing they did was fall to their knees in gratitude for this land where they could worship freely.

Let us pray today that we will be held together as a free nation not just because of our power but because of the Omnipotent God we serve and the way of life He established in His word that we can live by and be blessed.  Let us give thanks that we have such a foundation in our land.
