Saturday July 9, 2016 “Drank to Destruction”
Psalm 33:12 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
The Medo-Persian Empire drank their way to destruction. That civilization came crashing to the ground and perished from the face of the earth.
Let us pray that America will not follow their example. We can drink of the Holy Spirit’s living water and live eternally. We can also be a partner in what Abraham Lincoln said at Gettysburg – “We shall not perish from the earth.” We can “keep the lights on.”
Please pray for the victims and their families and those wounded in the Dallas shootings and that justice would be served . Also that a spirit of calm would be brought to our country in this time of tensions.
