Tuesday August 9, 2016 “Governors”
Psalm 115:16 “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s;
But the earth He has given to the children of men.”
God says that He has given the earth to the sons of men. Given in the Hebrew language means assigned. God didn’t so much give us the ownership of the planet as He did the responsibility of governing the earth. “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.”
Let us agree in prayer today that Christians understand what has been assigned or given to us as governors over the earth. We must one day give an accounting for what we have done as governors that keep man living within God’s realm of blessing.
