Tuesday October 11, 2016 “Atmospheric Changes”
2 Chronicles 5:13&14 “indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:“For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.”
The atmosphere changed in the temple when prayer was offered and unity was in the house of God. A cloud of God’s glory filled the place where they were gathered. In that same spirit the Book of Acts records that a room filled with believers praying and the room shook. If you have ever been inside a building when an earthquake strikes, there is a change in the atmosphere. People forget what they are discussing, some run, others scream or cry.
Point is atmosphere can change in a moment’s time. Pray today that churches across America begin to pray and that there be an atmospheric change in the church house. Pray that there be unity around the truth of God’s Word and the future of our country in the Household of faith.
