Sunday November 20, 2016 “God’s Great Work”

1Chronicles 29:1 Furthermore King David said to all the assembly: “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God.
Good evening and welcome to the Sunday Night Edition of “We Are the People” prayer for America. It is asked that all intercessors invest a minimum of 15 minutes (all time zones) in prayers of agreement using the three prayer focus points listed below.
May God richly bless you for your commitment to pray for our nation and please invite others to join us in turning our nation back to God.
Prayer Focus #1  Although Solomon was young and inexperienced God had chosen him so the people could have confidence in him. Pray tonight that there be a revelation of this truth to all Americans. The fact that God elevates one and puts down another is enough to overcome the seemingly lack of experience that some new leaders might have. Also pray that they, like Solomon will be surrounded by good leaders.
Prayer Focus #2  God told the people “the work is great”. That meant it would be a lot of work and also the work would result in something great.
Pray that as a nation we all will see that in our complex world when great things are accomplished it is a great deal of work and what we can expect if we all work together will be a great nation under God.
Prayer Focus #3  The Temple would be built for God and not for man, David said.  Let us pray together that any greatness America experiences in the days ahead will be used for God and His kingdom in the earth.  God specifically said it is not for man so let no man think it is for man’s benefit or that he would take credit for the good accomplished.
