We Are The People

Matthew 16:19  And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

As I read this scripture I thought of the great responsibility believers have to alter the course of history through prayer.  Power to bind wicked forces and loosening the powers of heaven have been given to the believer.

  Pray today on this eve of Thanksgiving that we will joyfully, yet responsibly see our place in God’s plans to bring the power of God’s kingdom to bear on our nation’s moral, financial and ethical conditions that have turned our blessed nation into a land without an anchor adrift in an ocean of uncertainty.
