We Are The People

Genesis 35:3 “Then let us arise and go up to Bethel; and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me in the way which I have gone.”

    Jacob’s altar of thanksgiving and worship to God was erected because of God’s faithfulness in the times of distress.  We all experience distress in life from time to time.

     PRAY for those who are living in the areas where recent wild fires and storms have taken the lives of our fellow Americans.  Also, pray that Christians in those areas will be there as the comforting agent of God and be of practical help to those who have lost loved ones and property.
