We Are The People

1 Samuel 1:6 ⁶ And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the Lord had closed her womb.

The context of these words is when Elkanah would take his wives and Peninah’s children to worship in Shiloh.  Elkanah’s other wife Hannah was barren.  She was continually harassed by Peninah.

In America today there is much rivalry and provocation.  Pray today that there will be a moving of the Spirit of God to heal this spiritual blight of strife in our land and the competition that reveals itself in hatred and bitterness.
