1 Kings 5:5 ⁵ And behold, I propose to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spoke to my father David, saying, “Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.”

Solomon proposed to build a house for the Lord.  Now we know that God no longer dwells in temples of wood and metal.  He lives in the hearts of men.  They become the temple of God’s spirit.

Let us pray today that those things that President Trump proposes will be friendly toward the Christian community in America.
