Tuesday, July 11, 2017 “Maintain their cause”
I Kings 8:44-45 “When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, wherever You send them, and when they pray to the Lord toward the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name, 45 then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.”
When the people who fight the battles pray, Solomon asked that the Lord would maintain their cause or bring about justice.
There are many intercessors in America today who are on the front lines of battle, keeping back the forces of darkness that are challenging the foundations of faith in America.
Pray to the Lord that He will strengthen them like Aaron and Hur did with Moses. Also, pray that the cause of the righteous will find itself propelled by the Spirit of God in restoring God’s purpose for America in the world today.
