1 Kings 9:6 ⁶ But if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them.

“If you turn at all from God and worshiping Him alone.”  God is warning Solomon concerning the worship of God and God alone which is one of the 10 commandments.  Idolatry is an abomination to God.  Pray that we Americans will guard our hearts concerning placing anyone or anything where God belongs in a believer’s life – #1.
