We Are The People

1 Kings 9:8 ⁸ And as for this house, which is exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and will hiss, and say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’

The previous verses were words of warning concerning God’s people and the ramifications of disobedience.  Here God doubles down on the results of disobedience.  Even the casual observer passing through would be appalled at what happened to Israel and the house of Worship.

Pray in agreement today that the church in America will consider the warning and turn to God with their whole heart.  Pray that we will have an understanding of our responsibility to guide the nation in righteousness.
