1 Kings 10:19 The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round at the back; there were armrests on either side of the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the armrests.

  The throne being round at the back and armrests on each side would provide comfort and rest for the one on the throne. Jesus sits unchallenged and at rest from His earthly labors – for as far as salvation’s work is concerned, “it is finished.”

   During Solomon’s rule there was relative peace so there could be a focus on building the nation and honor to God.

  Pray that in America we will experience some times of rest and peace so there can be a focus on rebuilding America and respect for God.
