1 Kings 11:1    But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites—

Many of the places where Solomon’s “lovers” came from were nations that God said must be destroyed in the land of Canaan. The lands were not destroyed so destruction came to Israel from within through the heathen influences.  Pray that ungodly affections in the hearts of all Americans be brought down by the Holy Spirit’s  conviction upon our land.
