King Rehoboam consulted the elders about how to lead the nation of Israel. Many times, the elders are “kicked to the curb” by the younger leaders.

Pray that our leaders who might be “younger” in the political and governmental realm will not despise the council of the elders but be willing to learn from both their successes and failures.
