We Are The People

1 Kings 12:9 “⁹ And he said to them, “What advice do you give? How should we answer this people who have spoken to me, saying, ‘Lighten the yoke which your father put on us’?”

Rehoboam had already heard the voice of all Israel recorded in Verses 3-4 but he asked the young “yes man” and they answered contrary to the “grass roots” wisdom of the masses.   Pray that our elected officials will listen to the American public and move in the direction that benefits the nation.
