We Are The People

1 Kings 12:16 ¹⁶ Now when all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them, the people answered the king, saying: “What share have we in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, O Israel! Now, see to your own house, O David!” So Israel departed to their tents.

The people of Israel disowned being a part of the kingly line of David because they felt that the nation of Israel was going in the wrong direction and they cried out but no one listened. Pray that our leaders who talk about Constitutional values when being elected will live up to their beliefs once in office. If not they will lose their base and loyalty of their people.
