We Are The People

1 Kings 12:21 ²¹ And when Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah with the tribe of Benjamin, one hundred and eighty thousand chosen men who were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, that he might restore the kingdom to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.

Rehoboam’s motives to be king might have been good but it wasn’t God’s plan at the time.  Pray that as a nation our motive will be good in foreign and domestic policies and that we will have prudence as to when to do that which is right before God.
