We Are The People

1 Kings 14:24 ²⁴ And there were also perverted persons in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations which the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.

God “cleared” the land for His people before bringing them into their inheritance. To our astonishment the people of God then committed sin of all sorts that the nations who were displaces committed.

Let us pray today that will recognize how gracious God is in giving us such a blessed land to live in and that we will rid ourselves of the ways of nations that have disregarded God’s law and were destroyed because of that.
