1 Kings 15:27 Then Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him. And Baasha killed him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines, while Nadab and all Israel laid siege to Gibbethon.

King Baasha of the tribe of Issachar carried out the Lord’s will on the evil king Nadab of Israel. The tribe of Issachar seemed to have a heart in tune with the will of God. The Bible tells us that the tribe knew what Israel should do. Pray that God’s people who have been elevated to high places in our nation will know what it is they must do to keep us in line with God’s will as a people. (Remember this does not mean physical harm in the dispensation of grace.)
