1 Kings 16:33 And Ahab made a wooden image. Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.

The Bible tells us that people who craft an idol become like the idol. They have eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear. Ahab became a person who could not see evil in Jezebel and he became deaf to the voice of God.

Pray that our leaders in America will not make “idols” out of ideologies that will deafen our ears and blind our eyes to the beauty of who we are because of the wisdom of God given to our forefathers who wrote our founding papers.
