We Are The People

1 Kings 18:2-3 So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab; and there was a severe famine in Samaria. ³ And Ahab had called Obadiah, who was in charge of his house. Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly. 

Elijah went to Ahab but Elijah did not always like what the prophet said. So Ahab called for Obadiah.  Obadiah was a “yes man.” Pray today that our leaders, beginning with the President, will surround themselves with God’s men and not yes men. We need to heed the Word of God – all of us from the least to the greatest.  Those words will always be to bring God’s Word that we need not what we want to hear.
