1 Kings 18:14 And now you say, ‘Go, tell your master, “Elijah is here.” ’ He will kill me!”

Obadiah, a man close to King Ahab, was fearful that if he would tell the king something that would appear untrue that he would lose his life. In today’s world people won’t be killed by our leaders for telling the truth but the truth is twisted to seem to be a lie and they can lose their livelihood. Pray that people in our government will “speak the truth in love” as the Apostle Paul taught us and leave the future to God’s care.
