We Are The People

1 Kings 18:22-23 Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. ²³ Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it.

One thing for sure those who oppose God are numerous but there is a choice they can make. “Choose your bull.” The prophet said to the 450 idol worshippers. They had first choice like Abraham gave Lot. That choice led to Lot and his family devastated. Pray that those who have chosen their own lot that is contrary to God’s world will reap the consequences of their choices and that God’s people will have wisdom as to their response to their self-inflicted pain.
