We Are The People

1 Kings 18:23 Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it.

Elijah said, “I will prepare my bull, lay it on wood and put fire under it.” The prophet wanted to make sure all was done according to God’s way.

In an age when there is so much delegation lets make sure that there is proper oversight in our government. Pray that all three branches of government will operate in a way that will produce proper oversight, checks and balances that keep us true to all our founder’s intent under God.
