Thursday, December 6, 2018 “Crying Out Loud”

1 Kings 18:27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.”
Elijah encouraged the priests of Baal to cry aloud to their “god.” It was “high noon” and the prophet wearied of the priests thinking, “for crying out loud, if Baal is truly a god—he must be hard of hearing.”
Pray that men and women of God in America will not be afraid to challenge voices that make a lot of noise but produced little if anything profitable by their ideas.
