Deadlines and powerless threats. Sounds like the recent government shutdown. Jezebel thought to scare Elijah with her words. She had no legitimate authority or power to do so. Pray that our leaders in Washington will understand their lines of authority and operate within them to bring about resolutions according to the Constitution and the rule of law. This should result in what is best for all Americans.
