We Are The People

1 Kings 19:5 Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.”

God’s people were in a crisis and the prophet isn’t running anymore – he is sleeping. This is like being asleep as Rome burned. Pray today that God’s people in America would arise to righteousness. May we hear the Lord say, “awaken you who sleep, and Christ shall give you light.” Light that will helpless see the way out of our lack of slumber.
