1 Kings 19:15 Then the Lord said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria.

Damascus was not a part of the Judean homeland, but God sent His choice servant Elijah there to tend to some unfinished business. Pray that some things that have not been tended to in recent years concerning international relationships will be addressed so that God’s will be accomplished in the earth as we partner with Him.
