King Ben-Hadad heard that Ahab, King of Israel said, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” The threats of Ben-Hadad had been turned back on him by Ahab. Not that we should threaten those who threaten us, but our military should be so strong that our commitment to a strong defense would say to all opponents “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” Pray for our military, our weapons development and the financing of our military budget by wise leaders in Washington.
