We Are The People

1 Kings 20:31:  Then his servants said to him, “Look now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings. Please, let us put sackcloth around our waists and ropes around our heads, and go out to the king of Israel; perhaps he will spare your life.”

The reputation of the king of Israel was one of mercy. The Bible tells us that “mercy triumphs over judgement, mercy is a powerful force. Pray that our nation and leaders will maintain the reputation as being merciful in these days we live in along with the might we must maintain to be a force for good in our world.
