We Are The People

1 Kings 20:33-Now the men were watching closely to see whether any sign of mercy would come from him; and they quickly grasped at this word and said, “Your brother Ben-Hadad.” So he said, “Go, bring him.” Then Ben-Hadad came out to him; and he had him come up into the chariot.

Hope is a part of faith and these servants had great hope that there would be a favorable sign that their “boss” would be OK. When the king of Israel responded, “Is Ben Hadad alive? He is my brother”- The servants took it as a move in the right direction. Pray that God will raise up men and women of faith who are gifted by the Holy Spirit who will be able to discern the spirits and build bridges that will yield good results.
