1 Kings 20:34: So Ben-Hadad said to him, “The cities which my father took from your father I will restore; and you may set up marketplaces for yourself in Damascus, as my father did in Samaria.” Then Ahab said, “I will send you away with this treaty.” So he made a treaty with him and sent him away.

Ben-Hadad was brought to King Ahab of Israel following the defeat of his army by Ahab’s forces. Ben-Hadad came with a humble, conciliatory spirit. Pray there will be only attitude of humility and cooperation that will come from nations who can obviously see that american capitalism and free-market economy works. Pray that they also might see the obvious blessing of God upon this system that elevates human beings potential.
